Denbigh Junior Winter Series 2015 – part 1
A couple of weeks ago a group of us junior glider pilots from around the country gathered in the wet, cold and windy fields of North Wales to fly gliders. We had a great time and some good photos were taken.
Now, us all being young and not very sensible we thought it would be a good idea to set up a small target on the airfield (a table-cloth) and take it in turns to fly low over the field and try to drop home-made flour bombs on the target! This of course meant that things like this happened…

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time to take photos of the binder taking off and landing. It was the first time I’d been at the club with the correct lens when it was flying! Here are my best photos. Some of them especially really show just how long those wings are. Stunning.
